Citroën is one of the first brands to enhance its onboard voice recognition feature using ChatGPT. Your Citroën can now verbally provide information on places, history, artists, technology, cooking, travel advice… you name it!*
Thanks to the integration of ChatGPT in your Citroën, just talk to your Navigation Assistant while keeping your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. No need to touch the infotainment screen and all of this is completely secure to protect your privacy.**
And asking is not all, sending commands is easy too: after getting recommendations from ChatGPT on the best restaurant to visit, just ask your vehicle to navigate there.
*Please note that ChatGPT version 3.5 uses data up to January 2022, so it has no knowledge of events and data after this date.
**ChatGPT is integrated in your Citroën using the audio and voice recognition system of SoundHound. Being an Artificial Intelligence language model, it is developed to generate human-like responses based on deep learning, but as this is a new and developing technology, the answers or information provided may not be totally accurate, correct or objective. As with any other virtual assistant, we recommend you not to rely only on the information provided and to avoid sharing private information. Citroën integrates ChatGPT to enhance the vehicle's voice recognition capabilities.
Chat about any topic - ask about the city you are driving through, get suggestions on the places to discover or the best recipes to taste.
For example, you could say: "Hello Citroën, what can I visit in a three-hours tour in Sydney?". Or talk of your everyday life, saying "Hello Citroën, suggest me how to improve my ecological footprint".
Just remember that asking for real time information (such as sport results, breaking news or if a shop is open right now) are not questions that your new Navigation Assistant can answer.
To subscribe, you need to be the owner of one of the following vehicles in the Citroën current range: C4, C4X, C5X, Berlingo and Spacetourer.

If your vehicle is in line with the criteria listed above, to subscribe to ChatGPT you just need to sign in and click on the button “Activate Now”. Then, follow the steps proposed, go onboard, start the engine and make sure to be in an area covered by a strong mobile signal. An automatic Over the Air update will enable ChatGPT on your Citroën. As soon as you receive the activation confirmation via email, just say “Hello Citroën” and you are ready to go.
Note that the usage period is linked to the remaining time of your Connected Navigation Pack contract: if this expires before the ChatGPT one, it will be necessary to renew your Connected Navigation Pack to continue using your new Navigation Assistant.
